Set in a glacial valley, between the snow-capped peaks of Chimborazo and Carihuairazo Volcanoes, Abraspungo is a beautiful Hacienda surrounded by lush green gardens and the peace and tranquility of the mountains.

Built in colonial style, the Hacienda is filled with old photos and local antiques, adding character and charm as well as an insight into the region's past. Rooms are spacious and private, located in separate buildings around the gardens, and there are a number of outdoor seating areas where guests can admire the view of Tungurahua Volcano's still-smoking peak.

There is a patio where barbecues are held, and each evening a representative from the local Kichwa community of Salasaca sets up a stall, with handwoven textiles, knitted clothes and other crafts.
The cosy restaurant, with its stone fireplace and beamed ceiling, has a range of dishes prepared with locally sourced and traditionally grown ingredients. For those who truly wish to relax, a range of massages and traditional therapies are available on site.
