The deep blue Cuicocha Lake, at 3,400 metres, is set in a volcanic crater with two emerald green islands and offers visitors stunning views across the province of Imbabura and the surrounding snow-capped volcanoes.

Located at a subtropical 1,800 metres altitude, at the foot of the smoke-spewing Tungurahua Volcano, Baños is a perfect place for relaxing. We will visit sugarcane plantations, the cathedral, wood and tagua workshops, a zoo with tropical wildlife and of course the natural thermal pools that give the town its name.
