Bike downhill from the highest point in Ecuador!
The tour begins in Riobamba, we pick you up at your hotel and drive by 4WD to the first of Chimborazo´s refuges (Carrel Brothers) at 4,800 meters. We have a short hike from the first to the second refuge (Edward Whymper) at 5,000 meters, then return the first refuge from where we start our downhill bike ride.
This route is designed for beginners; we will take a relaxed ride down hill and enjoy the flora and fauna in Chimborazo Wildlife Reserve.
• Distance: 32 km downhill, 7.5 km on dirt route and 24.5 km on paved roads
