Day 1: Drive from Riobamba to Chimborazo Base Camp located in the Totorillas Valley at 4,000 meters. In the afternoon we will trek in the area where llamas and alpacas live. Overnight in tents.

Day 2: Free morning for acclimatization at camp. After lunch, ascension to Whymper Hut. We also offer our clients the possibility to ascend to the mountain directly from the base camp, starting at night.

Day 3: Day of ascension following the Whymper Route. Starting the previous night, the climb will be completed in 8 to 10 hours. Return to base camp. Overnight in tents.

Day 4: In case of bad weather, on the fourth day, a second attempt will be made to reach the summit, in which case you will be dropped off in Riobamba in the late afternoon. Otherwise, we will drop you off in Riobamba early on Day 4.
