High up on a green hill overlooking the town of Papallacta, La Pampa de Papallacta is a cosy guesthouse with hot springs and comfortable rooms at an affordable price.

Rooms all have private bathrooms, fireplaces and their own hot tubs fed by Papallacta's natural hot springs. They lead out onto the larger outdoor thermal pool and a patio with views of the green slopes of the Cayambe Coca Ecological Reserve. There is an additional thermal pool in an intimate stone "cave" downstairs.

Staff can arrange guided tours of the surrounding area for keen hikers or nature enthusiasts - the Reserve is renowned for its excellent birdwatching opportunities.

The owner is constructing a small cabin within the Reserve with the aim of offering nature and birdwatching tours from there, along with marked paths and signs. The Hotel works with the Reserve's Rangers to offer guided tours.
