Day 1: Leaving from Quito to the mountain Rucu Pichincha, ascend to the summit at 4,694m and in the afternoon return to Quito to the hotel.
Day 2: Leaving from Quito we go 55km toward the south in our vehicles 4x4 until we arrive at the base of the mountain El Corazón (4,800m) and we begin the ascent until the summit in approximately three hours. Descent and camp in La Virgen at the base of the Ilinizas (3,900m).
Day 3: Ascent from the camp to Iliniza North (5,126m); in the afternoon we go to Cotopaxi National Park to the base camp close to Limpiopungo Lagoon (3,890m).
Day 4: Leaving at 4am, we ascend to the summit of Iliniza South (5,263m), then return to the refuge. In the afternoon we return to our base camp in Cotopaxi National Park.
Day 5: Walk to Cotopaxi's José Rivas Refuge (4,800m), in about 4 hours. In the afternoon we will rest in the refuge in anticipation of the overnight climb.
Day 6: Leaving at midnight, we will ascend to the summit of the Cotopaxi (5,897m), in approximately 6 hours and the descent to the refuge 3 hours. Return to the city of Latacunga.
