Tiana Hostel is a well-preserved colonial-style house, set around a central patio. Guests are invited to make the most of sunny mornings, swinging in the hammock, or enjoying a freshly squeezed fruit juice or light lunch at one of the tables on the patio. Vegetarian options are available.

All rooms are brightly painted and have beanbags, for those wishing to relax in their own space.

Leading off the patio are sitting areas with comfortable sofas and yet more beanbags, as well as a small book exchange. One of the lounges has a computer, and there is also wireless internet throughout the hostel. Both are free of charge.

Guests may also store luggage here - a great option for those embarking on several-day hikes around the region´s neighbouring indigenous communities.

The Dutch/Ecuadorian owners are welcoming and offer helpful travel advice to guests.
